Yoga
My objective in yoga is to become calm, centered and grounded. I came to yoga thirty five years ago because of an injury and knew instinctively it would help me cope with the stress of my life. For years I incorporated yoga postures into my classes as a way to warm-up or cool down but I knew there was much more to learn. I graduated from a Registered Yoga Alliance School and realized I had only scratched the surface! My studies have led me to Yogi Amrit Desai, a founder of Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health. Hatha Yoga and the practice of Yoga Nidra have enriched my teaching, allowing my students to experience choice-less awareness as the centerpiece of this style of restorative yoga.
